A little about myself.
I entered the world of photography back in 2001 when I was working for the world renowned Peter Fetterman Gallery, a fine art photography gallery in Los Angeles. It was there that I discovered the powerful impact that photography has on people. I helped many new and returning photography collectors enhance their passion for collecting images they had been moved by. The art of photography became my passion.
During those years I had the great honor to work with many iconic photographers such as Elliott Erwitt, George Tice, Ruth Bernhard, Henri Cartier Bresson, Steve McCurry, and many others. What really moved me was my discovery of the stories behind each and every one of their photographs, and understanding the meaning of capturing timeless moments as they unfold.
While managing the studio for the great master of wedding photography, Joe Buissink, my love for emotion and simple beauty in photography ‘moments’ grew. Today, my appreciation for the fine art of photography has allowed me to express myself in the world… behind the camera. I take great joy and pride in what I do. I feel gratitude every time I have the honor to photograph a wedding, a family portrait session, a musical event, a party. Where there is celebration, there’s happiness and joy.. the human spirit at its best, and that is what I love to be present in... moments in celebration.
